• Confidential Print
If Confidential Print is turned on when printing a document, the print job is saved in the printer’s
hard disk drive. You can print copies of the confidential document by using the job saved in the
printer’s hard disk drive. The saved job can be printed using the
Menu Mode of the printer ( see
“Performing Confidential Print (Windows-PCL Only)” on page 58 in the “Basics” section) or
HDD Utility ( see “Performing Confidential Print” on page 221 ). You can set the password
(Max. 16 characters of digits) and you are required to enter the correct password when printing the
saved job.
6 Reverse Page Order
Clicking on this check box allows you to print a document in reverse page order.
7 Print as mirror image
Clicking on this check box allows you to print a mirror image of the document.
8 Metafile Spooling
Clicking on this check box enables the Metafile Spooling. You cannot access the application while
a print job is being executed. Enabling this feature frees up your application program. Metafile
Spooling is on by default.
NOTE:
• A doucment created with some application may not be printed correctly when the Metaile
Spooling is enabled. In this case, turn the Metafile Spooling off and print it again.
