3. Prepare to remove the coolant pump
(1) Drain the coolant inside the unit.
For details of the coolant draining procedure, see “Coolant Check, Replenishment and Replacement Procedure”
in this manual.
4. Remove the coolant pump
(1) Unplug the connector for the coolant pump from the power board in Figure 1.
Caution
Remove the connector after verifying that the power breaker has been turned off.
Removing the connector with the power supply still on may lead to damage to the unit.

(2) Remove the wires from the clamp.
(3) Spread rags around the coolant pump and
disconnect the coolant hose (on the coolant pump
side).
(4) Remove the 4 securing bolts shown in Figure 2 and
pull out the coolant pump.
