Configuration

Battery Recalibration

•

Utility will not work unless the Toughbook is connected to an functioning AC Adapter

•

Once initiated, the Battery Recalibration Utility will log out of windows, reboot the machine and enter a 
special BIOS mode

•

Useful for batteries that have shorter than 
expected run times

•

Resets the expected power levels at each state, 
effectively resetting the meaning of 0-100%

•

Not the same as “refreshing” a Ni-Mh battery that 
has “memory” issues

•

Utility recalibrates the battery level by fully 
charging and discharging the main battery and 
logging each state during that period of time
