Battery
•
Leaving the laptop connected to AC Power at all times equal to storing it away. Eventually the cells will degrade and the
battery will become less and less useful over time.
•
Exposure to high levels of heat will damage the battery cells and degrade the useful life of the battery
Normal Use
•
Run the battery calibration utility once every 3 months
or so
•
The calibration utility will ensure that the battery is
used at its full capacity
24 Hour Environments
•
If you are connected to AC power at all times it is
strongly recommended that you enable Economy
mode
•
If you use the laptop on battery power in a 24 hour
use environment it is strongly recommended that you
enable Economy Mode.
•
Failure to do so may shorten the useful life of the main
battery
