Using the USB memory
This projector supports the attach m ent of the U SB m e m ory. A ttach the U SB m e m ory to the < U SB> ter m inal w hen
using the data cloning function, the fi r mw are update function, etc.

Notes on use
Obser v e follo w ing.

Do not disasse m ble or m odify the U SB m e m ory.
f
Do not apply strong i m pact on the U SB m e m ory.
f
Do not pour liquid such as w ater or get it w et.
f
Do not place foreign object into the ter m inal section.
f
Do not touch the m etal ter m inal w ith hand or m etal.
f
Do not lea v e the U SB m e m ory in a place w ith high hu m idity or dust.
f
Do not lea v e the U SB m e m ory in a place w here static electricity or electro m agnetic radiation is generated.
f
Store the U SB m e m ory appropriately in a location that s m all children cannot reach.
f
I mm ediately re m o v e the U SB m e m ory fro m the projector w hen s m oke or odor is noticed, and contact the
m anufacturer.

Do not re m o v e the U SB m e m ory fro m the projector w hile reading or w riting the data.
USB memory that can be used with the projector
This projector supports the co mm ercially a v ailable U SB 2 . 0 co m patible U SB m e m ory for m atted in F A T 1 6 or
F A T 32 .

Only the single partition structure is supported.
Attaching the USB memory
1) Insert the USB memory all the way in to the <USB> terminal.
Attention
f
Take care of the orientation of the ter m inal w hen inserting the U SB m e m ory so that it w ill not get da m aged.
f
Do not use a U SB e x tension cable or a U SB hub, and directly insert the U SB m e m ory into the < U SB> ter m inal of the projector.

Do not insert the U SB m e m ory into the <

The U SB m e m ory can be attached e v en w hen the projector is turned on.
Removing the USB memory
1) Remove the USB memory after confirming that the indicator on the USB memory is not blinking.
Attention
f
The blinking of the indicator of the U SB m e m ory attached to the projector is indicating that the projector is accessing ( reading or w riting ) the
U SB m e m ory. Do not re m o v e the U SB m e m ory fro m the projector w hen the indicator is blinking.
f
The access status to the U SB m e m ory cannot be con fi r m ed w hen a U SB m e m ory w ithout the m onitoring function such as indicator is used.
In such case, re m o v e the U SB m e m ory after con fi r m ing one of the follo w ing.

Turn off the projector.

When using the data cloning function, con fi r m that the sa v ing or loading of the data to / fro m the U SB m e m ory is co m pleted in the m enu
screen.

When using the fi r mw are update function, w ait until the projector auto m atically goes into standby after the update has started.
