6) Measure the current luminance (Y) and the chromaticity coordinates (x, y) using the colorimeter.

Set [ AU TO T E STP A TT E R N ] to [O N ] to display a test pattern of selected colors.
8) Once all the input is completed, press the <

Set the [ AU TO T E STP A TT E R N ] to [O N ] to auto m atically display a test pattern for use in adjusting the selected adjust m ent colors.

[ AU TO T E STP A TT E R N ] settings change together w ith the [ AU TO T E STP A TT E R N ] of [ E DG E B LEN DI N G].

Before using a colori m eter or si m ilar instru m ent to m easure m easure m ent data, set [PI C T U R E MOD E ] to [DY NA MI C ].

A difference in the color coordinates of target data and m easure m ent v alues obtained fro m an instru m ent m ay occur for certain instru m ents
and m easure m ent en v iron m ents used.
Resetting the adjustment condition of the color matching
Reset all the adjust m ent ite m s of the color m atching adjusted in [ 3C O L ORS], [ 7C O L ORS], and [M EA S U R E D].
1) Press

to select [COLOR MATCHING].
2) Press

to select [3COLORS], [7COLORS], or [MEASURED].
3) Press the <

[PICTURE MODE]
Sets all the adjust m ent ite m s of the color m atching to the color v alue of the factory default for the
currently selected picture m ode.
Set the picture m ode in the [PI C T U R E ] m enu → [PI C T U R E MOD E ].
[REC709]
Sets all the adjust m ent ite m s for color m atching to “IT U -R Reco mm endation BT. 70 9 ” , w hich is the
color standard for the high- v ision broadcasting.
[NATIVE] Sets all the adjust m ent ite m s for color m atching to uncorrected v alue.
8) Press

to select [OK], and press the <
