Power buttons
● When the washing machine is switched on, if after ten minutes you haven’t pressed the
START button, the washing machine automatically switches itself off.
● If the washing machine is off, and you see this display, you can’t turn the
washing machine back on again until the display goes off.

Start/Pause
● Press this button to start or pause your wash programme.
Programme selection dial
● Use this to choose the best programme for your laundry. (see page 12)

Mode selector
● Use this to select additional functions for each programme, such as rinsing and spin
cycles, and for the Drain only function.
Child safety lock
● Use this to lock the door and prevent children climbing into the drum.
● It also locks the controls to prevent children starting or stopping programmes
accidentally. (see page 25)

Presets
● You can choose when your programme finishes. (see page 24)

Spin speed
● Shows the spin speed (in r
/
min) for the programme you’ve selected.
● You can choose your own spin speed for some programmes.
● Some spin speeds can’t be used for certain programmes.
Caution
● When a programme is running, you can’t add optional functions to it or change the wash
temperature.
● To change the programme, turn the washing machine off and on again.
● To change optional functions, such as rinse settings or spin speed, press the PAUSE button after
water has been added to the drum.
● You’ll hear the buzzer when you press the buttons, to help make sure you’ve chosen the right
settings.
