Installation Manual

1.3.4

Installer Equipment and Software Requirements

The installer must have a personal computer or data terminal equipped with terminal emulation
software. We suggest that you use something like HyperTerminal by HILGRAEVE. Use the
personal computer to program the VPS. Terminal emulation software enables the keyboard to
be used as a data entry device.

While both the personal computer and data terminal are working, the personal computer allows
screens to be saved in a file throughout the process. It is often helpful to retrieve these files later
if technical support is needed.
