Programmable Settings

LCD Contrast

You can select the LCD contrast (6 levels) on the base unit and the cordless
handset separately. The factory preset is level 3.

Preparing the Answering System

Greeting Message

You can record a personal greeting message of

up to 2 minutes

. If you do not

record your own message, one of two pre-recorded greetings will be played for
callers (p. 21).

• You can set a high quality recording mode for clearer sound, if necessary (p. 23).
