Using the Conversion Assist Function

With the Conversion Assist Function, the function on the camera is used to convert file formats faster than when using the software only.

To use the Conversion Assist Function

●

The file format may be converted when using the following
functions of this software. To use the Conversion Assist
Function, use the AC adapter and connect the video camera to
the computer.

- Smart Wizard (Copy to disc)

- Copy to media

- Format conversion

●

In the following case, a window is displayed that instructs you
to use the AC adapter while the video camera is connected.
When this happens, follow the instructions on the screen.

- When the video camera is connected to the computer while using

the battery

Tips

●

The Conversion Assist Function does not support MP4/iFrame motion
pictures.

●

Refer to the Operating Instructions of the video camera for details on
how to connect the AC adapter.

●

This function is only supported by video cameras supplied with this
software.

●

The Conversion Assist Function is enabled by default.
