If the cover latch is closed, open it (page 16).
Installing the battery

Insert the tabs at the battery’s terminal side into the notches of the unit (

), and then lower the battery
into place (

Press down firmly on the outside edges of the battery to seal it closed.

Close the cover latch (

) and lock it (

) by sliding the cover latch lock (circled in the illustration) toward
.

Close the cover latch and the cover latch lock firmly until the red areas are no longer visible.
