• You can disconnect the USB cable safely.

Depending on the OS (Windows 98SE or Me, etc.), the icon for safe 
removal may not be displayed in the task tray. (There will be no 
display depending on the setting on the OS.) Make sure that the 
Card Access Lamp of this unit is turned off and then remove the USB 
cable.

If you disconnect the USB cable or the AC adaptor from this unit, or 
this unit is turned off while the PC is working, an error dialog box may 
appear. In such cases, click [OK] to close the dialog box.

When your OS is Macintosh, discard the icon of [untitled] or 
[NO_NAME] disk in [Trash] and then disconnect the USB cable.
