Deleting (Initializing) Owner’s Data
When you dispose of the computer or transfer the ownership, delete (initialize) the
owner’s data to avoid unauthorized access. To initialize the owner’s data, perform
steps

Disable Power-on Security
Performed by the Computer Administrator.

Start “Control Center”. (

Click [Identify] - [Status] - [Power-on security status].

Click [Edit], and remove the check mark from [Enable power-on security],
and click [Apply].

Click [Identify] - [Power-on Password].
E
Click [Manage Passwords...].
F
Select [Power-On] in [Password Types], and click [Unset password...].
G
Enter the Power-On password, and click [OK].

Click [Close].

Enter Windows log on password then, click [Send].

The data enrolled in the fingerprint sensor is not image data. You cannot
restore
fi
ngerprint image data from the data enrolled in the
fi
ngerprint sensor.
