Furthermore, the amount of parallax when the subject is positioned in the jutting out direction is expressed as a minus (“–”)
value and, conversely, the amount of parallax when the subject is positioned in the recessed direction is expressed as a plus
(“+”) value.
As shown in Fig. 1, when shooting subjects positioned in three locations with the virtual screen acting as a boundary, the
histogram of the amount of parallax will be as shown in Fig. 2.
