If you are satisfied with the calibration, press the [



] key to return to the Input# prompt, and repeat steps 2

through 8 for the other input.

You have completed calibrating the inputs. To leave the Inputs window,

• Press the [



] key to return to the Inputs tab, and the [



] arrow key to move to the Outputs tab.

• Press

[F2]

(Cancel) to return to Operate Mode without confirming the changes.

• Press

[F3]

(OK) to confirm the new data. The PT878GC returns to Operate Mode.

9.1.8 Setting up Signal Parameters

The Signal Setup option enables you to set parameters that affect the transducer signal:

• Delta-T Offset
• Transmit Sample Size
• Zero Cutoff
• Velocity Averaging
• Errors Allowed
• Peak Detection Method
• Peak Thresholds
• Pulse and Code

To enter the option, scroll to the Signal Setup entry on the Service Menu and press

[ENTER]

. The screen appears

similar to Figure 144 below.

The first prompt asks for the Delta-T offset. Delta-T is the difference between the upstream and downstream

transit times of the transducers. The Delta-T offset should normally be set to zero.
