9. Installing the HLU-D41
9.1
The HLU-D41 is installed in a single-channel unit slot of a D4 or SLC-96 channel bank (Figure 5).

To install the HLU-D41 into a channel bank:
1
Slide the HLU-D41 into the card guides for the desired slot, then push the unit in until it touches
the channel-bank backplane card-edge connector.

Push the unit in until it is entirely within the card guide and the retaining latch locks into place
indicating that the unit is properly seated.
