7. For replacing a controller in a single-controller system or both controllers simultaneously in a dual-
controller system, power up the system. Check the messages on the
system’s LCD panel, PAC
Mgmt., or firmware utility. The power LEDs turn on when the system is successfully initiated
online.
8. For replacing a controller in a single-controller system or both controllers simultaneously in a dual-
controller system, restore NVRAM data. From your firmware, look for
Restore NVRAM from Disks
or Restore NVRAM from Files to restore your previous ID/LUN mapping configuration.
