Drive Tray LEDs

 

 
 

 

PS 4012 Gen2, PS 4016 Gen2, and PS 4024 Gen2                 PS 4025 Gen2

 

 

 

There are two LEDs on the tray that indicate the status of your drives. When you get notified by a drive 
failure message, you must check the drive tray LEDs to find the correct location of the failed drive.

 

 

Number

Drive Busy

 

Data is being written or read from the drive. The drive is 
busy.

 

The hard drive is plugged in but there is no activity going 
on.

 

 

Power 
Status

 

                

The drive bay is occupied and working normally.

 

                

Disk drive failed or connection problem occurred.
