YOUR RUSH
The Rush is the new performance DHV ½ from Ozone. It has been
designed for pilots who want a wing with cross country performance
and dynamic handling whilst retaining high levels of passive safety.
It is suitable for most levels of pilots as it is easy to fly whilst still
offering amazing performance for this category of wing. Your Rush
will take you on many adventures from playing in the wind above
your local site to epic cross country trips you get to choose your
style.
With the Rush we wanted to create a 'high end' DHV 1-2 with Ozone's
trademark handling, safety and performance. The performance of the
Rush is very close to the Vulcan in terms of speed, sink rate and glide
ratio. For XC flying it is very good. With the advantages of 'DHV 2'
performance, but with the benefits of 'DHV 1-2' safety, you will be
able to reach the next thermal and extend your flights for as long as
possible. A true XC machine for the adventurous and progressive
pilot.
The Rush is well damped in pitch, this helps it cut through turbulence
efficiently, making it very resistant to deflations, improving its re-
inflation characteristics, handling and glide performance.
The Rush is very well coordinated in turns, offering direct, precise
handling making climbing in thermals a pleasure every time.
Handling has been optimised for XC flying. With the Rush, climbing
is no problem as the roll rate is good and can be easily controlled with
a little outside brake, this allows the wing to bite into thermals and
carve into turns. Smooth and flat or banked up - cranking it round,
either way you'll love it!
The Rush has a large useable speed range to help you out on the
sinky glides or when you need to push into a headwind. At full speed
the leading edge remains solid, even in mild turbulence.
We think your Rush will give you hours of enjoyment. Here at Ozone,
we love to hear feedback on our gliders, good or bad, so please let
us know all about the adventures you have with your Rush.

TEAM OZONE
Everyone at Ozone continues to be driven by our passion for flying,
our love of adventure and our quest to see Ozone's paraglider
development create better, safer and more versatile paragliders.
Paragliding design is led by the ever thoughtful Dav Dagault and Rob
Whittall who just don't ever stop; they are pilots with a wealth of
experience both in competition and adventure flying, as well as PG
design. Also on the design team are test pilots Jerome Canaud, a
true acro spirit who has instructed paragliding and Russell Ogden, top
competition pilot and paragliding instructor - they can usually be
found putting Dav's latest creation through a series of acro
manoeuvres.
Back in the office Mike 'Da Boss' Cavanagh and Sam Lowe generally
keep control of the mayhem. Making sure that your glider gets from
our factory to you as quickly as possible is Claire Drury, Meanwhile
hidden in a corner, trying to avoid looking at the flyable conditions
outside are Marcus King and Manu Prissette who look after all our
adverts, videos and communication, as well as trying to keep the
computers running. New member Ivan Bellia is in charge of
designing our new range of accessories. Downstairs Karine Marconi
makes sure we don't spend too much money whilst if you phone us
you are likely to hear the dulcet tones of Nicky Watts.
Our manufacturing facility in Vietnam is headed up by Dr Dave
Pilkington, who works relentlessly manufacturing gliders and
producing prototypes as well as researching materials and
manufacturing processes for our future products. He is backed up by
Ngan and 170 production staff.
