Bevel cutting
WarninG!
Always ensure that the variable speed scroll saw is switch off
and disconnect from mains power supply before making any adjustments.
Remove the table insert (6) by gently pushing up
from under the saw table (7) and rotate to the
slots of the table inserts are facing down and
to the right as shown in Fig. 13 (as described in
“Adjusting the table insert”).
Loosen the table lock knob (11) to allow the saw
table (7) to be tilted to the left. (Fig. 14). The saw
table (7) can be locked at any angle from 0° to a
45° angle to the left for bevel cutting.
A bevel scale (12) is located under the saw table (7)
as a convenient guide for setting the appropriate
table angle for bevel cutting (Fig. 15). The bevel
scale is a guide only, make a practice cut on scrap
material and adjust the saw table (7) as necessary
for your desired setting.
Loosen the screw at the front of the work piece
holder (14) (Fig.16) and then tilt so that it is
parallel to the saw table (7). Tighten the screw to
secure the work piece holder (14) in place.
