Remove the table insert (6), by pushing up from
under the saw table (7) (Fig. 2).
Fittting Blades:
Place the new blade through the opening in the
saw table (7), teeth to the front of the saw
pointing downwards. Gently fit the pins of the
blade into the V-notch of the lower blade holder
(Fig. 3). Keeping slight upward pressure on the
blade to ensure the blade is locked in place.
With the lower blade securely attached to the
lower blade holder, keeping a slight upward
pressure. With your other hand gently press the
saw arm lever (3) down, insert the pins of the
blade in the V-notch in the upper blade holder (4)
(Fig. 4).
Removing Blades:
Gently pull up on the blade and push down on
the saw arm lever (3) to disengage the upper pins
in the V-notch of the upper blade holder (4) (Fig. 5).
Gently pull down the blade to disengage the
lower pins in the V-notch of the lower blade
holder and remove the blade.
Increase the tension of the blade by turning the blade tension knob (1)
clockwise, “Tension” direction to hold the blade in place. The tension of the
blade should be adjusted as required when the cutting operation is undertaken.
Replace the table insert (6) to the position required for straight cutting or bevel
cutting as described in “Adjusting the table insert”, page 11.
