6.5 Protective equipotential bonding/grounding
Before initial operation of the installation, the product assembly must be earthed via an
equipotential bonding conductor by a qualifi ed electrician according to the valid standards
and local regulations.
All metal components of the product assembly have to be connected to the equipotential
bonding rail of the building. The cross-section of the required equipotential bonding cable
made of copper has to amount to at least 6 mm
2
. The DIN VDE 0100-540 standard must be
observed.

Danger to life due to electric shock!

Have all work on the electrical installation carried out by qualifi ed tradesmen.
•
Installation must only be carried out in dry indoor areas.
The following grounding clips are available:
Item no. 1359995 for Oventrop stations DN20 - DN32
Item no. 1359996 for Oventrop stations DN40 - DN50
In installations with
plastic piping,
electrically conductive connection
fi ttings have to be used for fi xing the grounding clips!
