Timer Record Section
SoundByte incorporates two timers. The One-shot timer enables the recorder for a
single period, Daily-timers repeat a preset record sequence each day.
Important considerations when using timers:
1. If the One-Shot and Daily-timers are enabled together, recording only occurs
when both timers are active.
2. If a Timer and the External Record Control Input are enabled together, recording
is limited to when both the Timer AND the External Control Input are active.
Enabling the Timer(s)
Once a timer has been set and the connection to SoundControl is removed, the timer
has to be
armed
by pressing [Start]. The LED then pulses green once every two
seconds to show the timer is active. If the timer is active when you press [Start], the
unit will record until the timer period is complete. When in standby, the timer can be
subsequently enabled or disabled by pressing the [Start] & [Stop] buttons.
