4.3.7 Bypass Loop

For maintenance and servicing sake, it is good practice to provide a bypass loop.

4.4 Installation
4.4.1 Flanged Type

(1)  In  order  to  avoid  strains  on  sensor  flanges, 

be  sure  to  correct  the  flange  face-to-face 

dimension,  tilt  and  off-center  of  the  pipes 

immediately before and after the sensor.

(2) Make sure of the flow direction by referring to 

the flow direction plate.

(3)  Align  the  sensor  flange  O.D.  with  the  flange 

O.D.  of  the  pipeline,  install  gaskets,  and 

tighten hex bolts evenly.

CAUTION:  Remove,  before  installation,  protective  seals  on  sensor  flanges  that  are  attached 

before shipment from factory.
