2.9 Loading the Media
The following procedure will outline the steps required to set the media properly.
This printer prints business cards, post cards, etc. Be sure to use Output Solutions approved media.
NOTES :
Before setting the media, take care of the following:
1. Flick through the media stack to remove paper particles or powder from the media.
2. When the media is slightly curled, bend it in the opposite direction, being careful not to wrinkle the media
surface.
3. Do not use curled, wrinkled, folded, or torn media.
2.9.1 Loading the Business Card and Post Card
1. Loosen the two Media Guide Fixing Screws and spread the Media Guides.
NOTES :
1. Do not spread the Media Guides by force, as this may cause deformation of the Media Guide or
machine failure.
2. When moving the Media Guides, be sure to hold the position where the “Press” sign label is
attached.
