Device has been restored to incoming user settings
Connecting to Genie 2 is not needed, however if you want to confirm settings,
please follow these steps:
1. In Noah, open the most recent session where both devices were connected.
2. Go to the ‘FITTING’ screen and click ‘Connect’ in the upper left corner to connect
the repaired device. Please note: if settings are the same as Genie 2, a pop up
box will appear to verify serial number only. Proceed to step 3.
3. Save and exit.
4. Once disconnected from Genie 2 the device can be sent to the patient and will
automatically connect binaurally to the patients other hearing aid.
Device has been programmed to user audiogram
Please connect this device to Genie 2 using the following steps to restore
user settings:
1. In Noah, open the most recent session where both devices were connected.
2. Go to the ‘FITTING’ screen and click ‘Connect’ in the upper left corner to connect
the repaired device.
3. If programming one aid of a binaural set, once device is connected a wireless
connection screen will appear with alert ‘One of the instruments in not
present’. Select ‘OK’.
4. When prompted to select settings ‘Use instrument data’ or ‘Use session
data’, select ‘Use session data’ to maintain settings and NFMI wireless
communication between the hearing aids. Select ‘OK’.
5. Save and exit.
6. Once disconnected from Genie 2 the device can be sent to the patient and will
automatically connect binaurally to the patients other hearing aid.
Important information
• If you connect to the device in the ‘Welcome’ or ‘Selection’ screen the binaural
communication in the device will be lost.
• Patients will need to re‑pair both hearing instruments to their smartphone and any
accessories in the field.
