Platform Control Indicator Panel

(See Figure 3-7., Platform Control Indicator Panel)

NOTE:

Indicator lights illuminate as a self test for approximately
1 second when key is turned to the on position.

1. System Distress Indicator

The indicator illuminates when the JLG Control 
System has detected an abnormal condition and
a Diagnostic Trouble Code has been set in the system 
memory. Refer to the Service Manual for instructions 
concerning the trouble codes and trouble code retrieval. The
system distress indicator light will illuminate for 2-3 seconds 
when the key is positioned to the ON position to act as a self 
test.

2. Drive Orientation Indicator

Indicates  the  Drive  and  Steer  Disable  function
has been activated.

3. Platform Capacity Indicator

Indicates the platform capacity zone for the 
current position of the platform. Restricted 
capacities are permitted at restricted platform 
positions (shorter boom lengths and higher
boom angles).

NOTE:

Refer to capacity decals on the machine for restricted and unre

stricted platform capacities.

4. Tilt Warning Light and Alarm

This red illuminator indicates the chassis is on a
slope.  If  the  boom  is  above  horizontal  and  the
machine is on a slope, the tilt alarm warning light will illumi

nate,  an  alarm  will  sound,  and  Creep  is  automatically  acti

-

vated.
