OPERATING & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRATFORD CF ZERO CLEARANCE WOOD HEATER
5.1.3
Door Adjustment
In order for your zero clearance wood inbuilt to burn at its best efficiency, the door must provide a perfect
seal with the firebox. Therefore, the gasket should be inspected periodically to check for a good seal. The
gasket seal may be improved with a simple latch mechanism adjustment. To adjust:
1.
Open the door and locate the upper and lower locking systems to the right of the zero clearance wood
inbuilt.
2.
Using an Allen key, turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise to increase the pressure between the
door frame and the heater opening. To reduce the pressure, in the case of a new gasket for example,
turn the adjustment screw clockwise.
