Releasing ETO state
If the STOP input is turned ON while the ETO function is activated, the ETO state can be released (eff ective at the ON
edge of the STOP input). Be sure to turn the STOP input ON after turning the HWTO1 input and HWTO2 input ON.

Be sure to check the motor is in a standstill state before executing the ETO function. If the ETO
function is executed while the motor is operated, it may cause damage to the motor, driver, or
equipment.
1. When both the HWTO1 input and HWTO2 input have been turned OFF, the EDM output will turn ON.
The power supply to the motor will be shut off .
2. Turn the HWTO1 input and HWTO2 input ON.
3. Turn the STOP input ON.
The power is supplied to the motor, and the motor will be excited.
4. Turn the STOP input OFF.
The PLS-RDY input turns ON, and the driver will be ready to operate.
