STARTUP SCREEN
When the camera is turned on, a start-up sound is played together
with a “splash screen” displayed. The splash screen can be turned on
(default) or off.
FORMAT
This option will format all data in either the internal memory or the
external SD card / MMC, including all protected files.
CAUTION:
Do not eject the SD card / MMC while the card is being
formatted, as this may damage the card. Formatting deletes all data
from the chosen memory device. Files will not be recoverable.
NOTE:
Some SD cards / MMC utilize a locking mechanism that
prevents data from being deleted and the card from being formatted.
To format such cards, make sure the lock is disabled first.
LCD BRIGHTNESS
You can adjust the LCD brightness
level (-2 ~ 0 ~ +2) to compensate
for different lighting conditions. 0 is
the default setting.
If there is plenty of ambient light such as in bright sunshine, or if ambient
light levels are relatively low such as indoors or at night, adjust the
brightness levels higher to make the display easier to see.
TIP:
To maximize battery life, keep brightness settings low.
VERSION
Accessing this feature will display the system information of the unit,
such as the model number, hardware version and firmware version.
