Adjusting the Thermostat:
The Orbis Calorama/Comfort View Series heater is equipped with a modulating
thermostatic control for your comfort. The term "modulating" means that the gas flow
to the burner is constantly adjusted either higher or lower depending on the temperature
of the room. Position LO on the thermostat dial is the lowest temperature setting. Position
HI on the thermostat dial is the highest temperature setting. Choose the setting that
provides the most comfort for you. Excessively high temperature settings can cause you
to constantly readjust the thermostat and lose valuable efficiency.
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THIS APPLIANCE WITH THE PILOT/MAIN BURNER
OBSERVATION PANELS REMOVED, CRACKED OR BROKEN. REPLACEMENT
OF THESE PANELS SHOULD BE DONE BY A LICENSED OR QUALIFIED PERSON.
NEVER OPERATE YOUR ORBIS CALORAMA/COMFORT VIEW SERIES HEATER
WITH THE FRONT COVER REMOVED. THIS APPLIANCE GENERATES HEAT
AND THE INNER PANELS, WHEN EXPOSED,
CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
CARE OF YOUR UNIT: This unit needs very little care.
To clean the outer case, wipe it with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT USE SOLVENTS.
