Example of a dialogue whereby a PIN code
is entered:
Voice output: Please enter the PIN
code.
User: 1234 - accept.
Voice output: The PIN code is incorrect.
User: 4321 - accept.
Voice output: The PIN code has been
accepted.
Call
Using this c o m m a n d , you c a n input a
telephone number which has been s a v e d in
the directory under a n a m e (voice tag) or
which is to be used to create a connection.
After this c o m m a n d , the following
commands are available to you:
- "Number"
The connection is created using the
number entered.
- " N a m e "
The connection is created using the
voice t a g . Saving a voice t a g (see
page 54).
Number:
After this c o m m a n d has been given, you
will be asked to enter the number. S a y the
telephone number in a normal voice,
without any artificial pauses between the
numbers. Recognition is most successful
when you pause for at least half a second
after every three to five numbers. The
infotainment system then repeats the
recognised numbers. Y o u c a n then input
additional numbers or the following
commands:
- " C a l l "
The inputs h a v e been a c c e p t e d .
- " C h a n g e "
The last block of numbers has been
deleted.
- " D e l e t e "
The complete input has been deleted.
- " H e l p "
The dialogue is ended a n d all
commands available in this context
are being listed.
- " P l u s "
A plus is placed before the number for
foreign calls.
- "Additional digits"
Additional digits a r e being a d d e d .
- " C a n c e l "
Ending the dialling process. After the
request for a correction, all blocks of
numbers previously entered are
repeated with the exception of the last
block. If all inputs h a v e been deleted,
you a r e once a g a i n asked to input your
telephone number.
If there is a voice pause of more than
one second between the individual
numbers, the infotainment system
assumes that the process of inputting
the block of numbers has ended a n d
repeats the block of numbers.
In order to make a foreign call, you c a n say
the word " P l u s " (+) in front of your number.
The plus allows you to make a call from
that country without knowing the foreign
dialling code for the country in question.
Then say the country code.
The country code corresponds to the
conventional format, i. e. 49 for Germany,
44 for Great Britain, etc. The alternative " 0 "
must be left out of the local network code
(dialling code), except in Italy.
