Troubleshooting

Connection Errors

The power indicator is not lit.

• The power supply is not connected properly.

• The supply voltage is not 24 VDC+10%/–15%.

The RUN indicator is not lit.

• The cable is not connected correctly. (Use Image Analysis/

Hardware Check to confirm.)

The OK indicator is not lit.

• The cable is not connected correctly. (Use Image Analysis/

Hardware Check to confirm.)

• Teaching has not been performed.

• Use a monitor to be sure the code is picked up by the Scanner.

Decode error

An L-shape finder pattern was detected but the 
data could not be decoded.

• The data part of the code may be stained or

damaged. Check the condition of the data
part of the code.

• The finder pattern may be stained or dam-

aged. Check the condition of the finder pat-
tern.

• Model registration may not have been per-

formed in the optimum way. Re-register the
model with reference to page 65.

• The cell recognition coordinates may be

incorrect. Adjust the field of vision so that
the code image is larger and re-enter the
settings.
