The Auxiliary Area of the CVM1 and CV-series PLCs is allocated to system
functions, and it cannot be used for purposes other than system use.
The range of each memory area differs according to the PLC. Refer to Appen-
dix D Making the Cable on page 153.
Procedure 1. Use the support tool to allocate the PT status notify area (PT to PLC) to
the PLC memory.
2. Create a PLC program to read the “currently displayed screen word” in the
PT status notify area when the “screen switch strobe flag” in the PT status
notify area has turned ON.
Reference
• The contents of the “currently displayed screen word” are updated also by
switching the screen by using the menu screen function of the NT11.
• For details on the menu screen function, refer to 4-7 Menu Screen Func-
tion (page 99).
Example of Reading the Number of Currently Display Screen
This example gives a PLC program that reads the screen number each time
the screen is switched. In this example, the number of the previous screen is
also stored.
• Support tool settings
Make the following settings with the support tool:
PT status notify area: Word 0110
• PLC ladder program
• Program operation
1. When the NT11 screen display switches and the screen switch strobe flag
(bit 11212) turns ON, the contents of DM0100 are transferred to DM0101.
The number of the previously displayed screen is stored in word 0101.
2. The new screen number notified by the NT11 is read and transferred to
DM0100. The number of the currently displayed screen is stored in
DM0100.
