Important installer information:

WARNING

CAUTION

Injury due to electric shock, or fire, may possibly
occur. Do not open the front cover or disassemble,
modify, or repair.

Burn injury will occur. Do not touch the upper part
of the product cabinet during operation or
immediately after stopping operation.

Functional impairment may possibly occur due to
the destruction or damage of internal components
caused by condensation. Do not install in places
subject to high humidity, steam, or high
temperatures.

Fire will occur. Do not obstruct ventilation holes or
place any objects within 20 cm of the ventilation
holes.

Significant injury may possibly occur due to fire.
Do not use the product in a flammable gas
atmosphere (including flammable sprays such as
pesticides).

Damage from burning will occur. Turn OFF the AC
breaker before removing the MC connector. Do not
connect or disconnect the MC connector while the
current is flowing.

Injury or functional impairment may possibly
occur due to electric shock or burns. Do not install
in places that are within the reach of children.

Injury may occasionally occur.
Be careful by two persons when for transporting
and placing in position.

Fire will occur. Do not install near highly
combustible items or heat sources (stoves, heaters,
boilers, etc.).

Confirm the polarity of the cable from the PV
module and the AC side to ensure correct
connection and avoid possible damages which are
not covered by warranty. This can be done with a
standard Multimeter.

Significant property damage may occasionally
occur. Do not use the product at any country other
than the designated one.

Injury will occur due to the product falling. Install
the product in a location that will be able to support
its weight (35 kg). The installation location must be
able to withstand the force of 185 N

m of torque at

each mounting screw.

Injury or electric shock will occur. Read the
manual and follow prior to installing or performing
maintenance on the product, and follow the
instructions carefully.

Injury will occur due to the product falling. Use the
installation parts and materials that are included
with the product.

Have the installation done by a person with
qualifications approved by the relevant local utility.

IP65 performance may not be provided, if you
don’t follow these instructions:

1. Tighten the cable glands of AC output and RS-
485.

Injury due to electric shock or property damage due
to burning may occasionally occur. Mount the
enclosed caps onto MC connector that is not used.
Mount the rubber bushing with no hole in RS-485
connector if RS-485 is not used. Tighten the screw of
RS-232C protection cover properly if RS-232C is
not used.

2. Use a wire with a cross-sectional area of 4 mm

2

or AWG12 and a cable with diameter of 6 mm is
allowed for the AC connector. Use a wire with a
cross-sectional area of 10 mm

2

 or AWG8 is a cable

with diameter of 7.5 to 15 mm allowed for GND
connector.

3. Tighten the screws of the AC output over and RS-
232C and RS-485 protection cover to the specified
torque (1.3 to 1.6 N

m). Or tighten the screws of RS-

232C connecter properly.
4. Some thinning of the cable may be caused due to
usage conditions, with the result that IP65
performance may not be provided.  Perform
additional tightening of the tightening cap of AC
cover and communication cover regularly.

5. Tighten the tightening cap of communications
cover to the specified torque.
6. Use a wire with a cross-sectional area of 0.3 mm

2

and a cable with diameter of 4 mm is allowed for
the communications plug.
7. Tightly tighten the screws of plug with Data
Logger.
