Audio Link Operation
Via the audio link module of a MOM-10BT4 system, its master signal can be transferred to the receiving
modules of further MOM-10BT4 systems. Set the transmission channel at the receiver modules of the
secondary units and set the audio link module of the master unit to the same channel. Please make sure to
set the receiving module(s) and the audio link module at the master unit to different channels, otherwise
there will be feedback. Alternatively, you can link several MOM-10BT4 systems via cable using the
LINE
OUT/WIRLESS LINK
XLR output (16).
Use the corresponding switch (17) to configure the signal output:
Setting
Function
STEREO MIX
The master signal of the MOM-10BT4 is available as mono signal at the audio
link module and the XLR output.
Use this setting if you want to send the master signal from one MOM-10BT4
system to several MOM-10BT4 systems.
MONO R
The right channel of the stereo inputs (Bluetooth receiver, CD/MP3 player,
line input) is fed to the audio link module and the XLR output. The transmitting
MOM-10BT4 system plays the left stereo channel and the receiving MOM-
10BT4 system plays the right stereo channel. The mono signals (receiver slot
1-3 and MIC1-2) are played on both MOM-10BT4 systems.
Use this setting if you want to use two MOM-10BT4 systems in a stereo
setup.
Application examples
Stereo operation
Description
Music from a Bluetooth device is
streamed to the primary MOM-10BT4
system. The MONO R setting splits the
master signal into stereo channels: the
primary system plays the left stereo
channel and wirelessly transfers the right
stereo channel to the secondary system.
Mono operation with 1 audio link module
Description
Three microphones at a conference are
mixed at the primary MOM-10BT4
system and wirelessly distributed to the
secondary systems. The switch (17) is
set to STEREO MIX.
