Installing Extension Modules

Installing wireless modules
The PA system features four extension slots for the quick and easy installation of wireless modules. Slots 1-3
(
RECEIVER
) are designed for receiver modules. Slot 4 (
RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER
) is optimized for audio
signals can be used for installing the audio link module or a receiver module. When linking two speakers for
stereo operation, the audio link module transfers the master signal to the secondary speaker’s receiver
module. As this slot is not routed via the microphone input, the tone control (8) and effect control (9) do not
work. The BASS and TREBLE controls (12) can be used instead. When linking multiple speakers for mono
operation slot 1-3 may also be used for reception of the master signal. Follow the steps below to install a
module:
1) Switch off the PA system and disconnect it from the mains.
2) Screw off the cover of the desired slot.
3) Carefully insert the module into the slot until it touches the contact strip. Lock the module in place
exerting a slit pressure.
4) Screw the module to the PA system.
5) Insert the common antenna for the receiver modules to the corresponding
RECEIVER ANT.

audio link module has its own jack for the transmitting antenna. Put the antennas in a vertical position for
wireless operation.

Installing the CD/MP3 player module
The uppermost extension slot marked
PLAYER SLOT
is provided for the CD/MP3 player. Follow the steps
below to install the module:
1) Switch off the PA system and disconnect it from the mains.
2) Remove the two transportation safety screws on top of the module (fig. C).
3) Pull out the connection cables from the PCB of the PA system and connect it the module’s jacks (see
label).
4) Carefully insert the module into the slot and screw it to the PA system using the longer screws provided.
