OPERATION
1
To prevent loud switching noise, first switch on all other units of the PA system.
2
Prior to switching on, turn the master control MASTER LEVEL and the level controls of the input
channels to zero to avoid a high volume at the beginning. Then switch on the unit with the power switch.
The power indicator lights up.
3
Turn up the master control so that the mixing ratio of the signal sources can be adjusted in an optimum
way.
4
Adjust the desired volume ratio with the level controls of the input channels. Turn the controls of the
inputs not used to zero.
5
To improve the audibility of an announcement via microphone input MIC 1 enable the priority circuit by
setting DIP switch 4 to the lower position.
6
Adjust the desired sound with the tone controls. By adjusting the tone controls, the high frequencies
(control TREBLE) and the low frequencies (control BASS) can be boosted or attenuated. With the
controls in mid-position, the frequency response is not affected.
7
Adjust the definite level of the total volume with the master control. The 4-step LED row shows the
output level: the yellow CLIP LED must not light permanently. Otherwise slightly turn back the master
control.
8
The integrated protective circuits prevent damage to the speakers and the amplifier. If activated, the
speakers are electrically separated from the amplifier and the LED PROT lights up:
• in case of a short-circuit at a speaker output
• in case of overload
• in case of overheat
If the red LED PROT lights up during operation, the amplifier has to be switched off and the cause of
the fault has to be removed.
Audio Player
The amplifier features an audio player for MP3 files from USB storage devices and SD cards as well as
wireless music streaming from your Bluetooth devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks. An FM
tuner with automatic station memory. Use the MODE button to select the desired signal source. The audio
player can either be operated via the buttons on the front panel or via the remote control.
Bluetooth Devices
After switching on, the audio player will enter the pairing mode. A message will be played via the speakers
and the display indicates ”
bt
”. Now activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the
device scan. Select “
OMNITRONIC
“ from the list and connect the devices. Once the devices are paired,
another message will be played. Then play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the
sound will come out of the speakers. You can operate the Bluetooth source with the remote control, too.
