FUNCTIONAL BLOCK DIAGRAM
DESCRIPTION
The HDA-1832 is a reclocked high definition serial
digital video distribution amplifier. The HDA-1832
has one input, and 9 outputs, with automatic
equalization for up to 110 meters of cable (Belden
1694a) at 1.48 Gbps. The amplifier offers signal
presence detection and remote reporting, and
includes reclocking, providing an additional level of
signal integrity in long cable length applications.
While primarily designed for distribution of HD
serial digital signals (SMPTE 292M), the HDA-1832
automatically detects and re-clocks non-HD signals.
This multi-rate feature makes the HDA-1832 ideal
for applications where HD and SD signals may
coexist. The HDA-1832 is designed for use in the
DENSITÉ
frame.
