Connecting Audio Units

MIC 1:
This balanced XLR input connects a microphone. To enable a +48 V phantom power for condenser
microphones set DIP switch
3
(21) to the lower position. The level is adjusted by the front control (4). To
enable the priority circuit set DIP switch 4 (21) to the upper position. In case of an announcement the level
of the other channels is attenuated. After the announcement, the level of the other channels slowly returns
to the original level.
Caution!
If the phantom power is switched on, no microphone with unbalanced output must be connected. Otherwise
this microphone may be damaged. To prevent switching noise, only phantom power when the amplifier is
switched off or when all output controls are set to minimum.

MIC 2-3/LINE 1-2:
These unbalanced 6.3 mm jacks connect both microphones and units with line level. Set
DIP switch 1 and/or 2 (21) to the upper position for microphone level or to the lower position for line level.
The level is adjusted by the front controls (5) and (6).

LINE 3-4
: Use these unbalanced RCA jacks to connect units with line level (e.g. CD players). The level is
adjusted by the front controls (7) and (8).

OUT
: This unbalanced RCA output provides the mixed signal to connect, e.g. an additional amplifier

Power Supply
Finally connect the device to a mains outlet with the mains cable. For continuous operation of the amplifier in
case of a possible mains failure, a 24 V rechargeable battery can be connected to the terminals DC24V IN.
