5.3 Brightness & Contrast
1. Select to activate the function.
2. Move the Brightness slider to the left or right to control the amount of brightness.
3. Move the Contrast slider to the left or right to control the amount of image contrast.
4. Select anywhere on the screen or press on the Joystick Controller to exit menu.
5.3.1 NUC
Non-Uniformity Correction (NUC) function corrects for slight detector drift that occurs due
to changes in the surrounding temperature and environment. As the heat emitting from the
camera can interfere with its performance, the NUC function allows the camera to adjust the
image based on its own IR radiation readings.
The Non-Uniformity Correction (NUC) function is activated by default during the initial startup
and remains active in real-time for maintaining image quality. Should the image quality appear
unsatisfactory, you can activate the NUC function manually by pressing the [NUC] button.
Alternatively, you can also manually use the NUC function before capturing a critical image to
ensure accuracy.
