7 Adjusting Settings

Edit or rename a carb preset

Home

Settings > Presets > Carb presets

2. Choose the category containing the preset you want to edit, then press

Select

3. Highlight the carb preset that you want to edit, then press

Edit

4. Press

Edit

again on the next screen.

5. To rename the preset, enter a new name (see "Entering text" on page 6).
6. Enter the grams of carbohydrates in the food, then press

Next

7. The next step is to, optionally, specify the grams of fiber in the meal. Consult

with your healthcare provider about whether or not to enter the fiber

information.

Note:

If you enter the grams of fiber into your carb preset, the Bolus

Calculator subtracts the grams of fiber from the grams of carbohydrates.

Alternately, in step 6 above, you can enter the total grams of carbs minus the

fiber yourself.

8. Press

Next

9. If you want, you can enter the grams of fat and protein and the total calories

in the meal. Press

Next

after each entry. Entering these additional numbers is

optional.

10. Press

Done

to save the changes.

Delete a carb preset

Home

Settings > Presets > Carb presets
