Power up
At power down, current state of adsorption and regeneration is stored in the non-volatile
memory of controller. At power up, this information is used so that adsorption starts in the
column which contains less moisture.
5.2 Test Cycle
One complete cycle of adsorption and regeneration can last. But during production testing,
commission or during maintenance and repair, the cycle can be shortened by operator. This
way, proper operation of valves, pressurization, purge, etc. can be checked. This mode is
entered in the Test Cycle menu by pressing increment key.
During the test cycle, periods of adsorption and regeneration are short. Because of that,
condition of columns does not change much. Nevertheless, test cycles should not be
exercised often.
5.3 Dew Point Sensor
The controller has provisions for connecting a dew point sensor with 4-20mA current output.
The two wire sensor is supplied from dryer as it shown in Figure. If the dew point sensor has
its own supply, the signal must be connect as it is show in Figure. Please, note that the
terminal 19 is connected to earth inside the controller.
