Set to the middle of stroke.
Adjusting the Focus (Fig. 28)
1. Rotate one of the focus adjustment knobs @ of the SZ2-FO vertical-
movement stage to set the stage in the position corresponding to the
middle of the focusing stroke.
2. Place a specimen on the stage and rotate the focus adjustment knob
² of the base to bring the specimen into approximate focus. Then
proceed to fine focus adjustment using the focus adjustment knob @
of the vertical-movement stage.

#The illumination intensity may be reduced when a
frosted filter is used.
