Using the filter functions
The filter functions allow you to adjust the image quality and apply special effects
to images.

Function
Adjusts the overall brightness of the
image.
Adjusts the intensity range between
the lightest and darkest parts of the
image.

Use this when the apparent
brightness and color of the image
varies from monitor to monitor.
Adjusts the balance of the red, blue,
and green primary colors to produce
natural colors.
Adjusts these three color
parameters.
Hue: Basic color tone
Saturation: Degree of purity of colors
Lightness: Grayscale intensity
Adjusts the accentuation of edges
and fine details in the image.
Makes the image indistinct.
Changes red eyes caused by flash to
black.
Automatically adjusts the image
quality parameters (brightness,
contrast, hue, saturation, sharpness,
and so on).
Applies a sepia tone, as in old
photographs.
Changes the image to monochrome
(grayscale).
