LF-TP/DP/GP OPERATION MANUAL
Photography
Connect the camera to the endoscope’s eyepiece, and take photographs
according to the camera’s instruction manual.
Monitor Observation
When observing the endoscopic image on the display monitor, refer to the
instruction manuals of the Light Source and the OES Video System.
Simultaneous Observation by 2 People
By connecting the Lecturescope (LS-10R) to the endoscope’s eyepiece, a
second observer may view the procedure.
Placement of the ETT
1.
Confirm that the Distal End of the endoscope has reached the desired area.
2.
Detach the ETT from the Boot of the Control Section.
3.
Slide the ETT over the Insertion Tube and advance it into the trachea.
Keep the UP/DOWN Angulation Control Lever in the neutral
position and advance the ETT as slowly as possible.
4.
Confirm that the ETT has reached the desired position.
The Angulation Control Lever should not be operated when
the Bending Section is inside of the ETT.
5.
Before withdrawing the endoscope, set the Angulation Control Lever in the
neutral position.
6.
Slowly withdraw the endoscope while observing the endoscopic image.
Bronchoalveolar Lavage (LF-TP Only)
When performing Bronchoalveolar Lavage, the BAL Kit or a
syringe can be used. The syringe can be attached to the
Single-use Biopsy Valve (MAJ-210) or Biopsy Valve
(MD-495).
