3 Pre-observation/pre-operation preparation and inspection

Attaching the USB flash drive

Setting up the main unit and performing observation

Slide the lock release lever to the side to open the battery cover.
Noting the orientation of the USB flash drive, insert it terminals first. After inserting the USB flash
drive, close the cover and slide the lock release lever back to the lock position.

When installing the main unit on a flat surface for observation, use the handle as a stand.
Adjust the handle to an angle that allows the LCD monitor to be easily viewed. The angle of the
handle can be adjusted smoothly to any position within the range shown in the figure above.

Observation can be done with the main unit set up on a flat surface, hung from something, or on a
tripod.

The USB flash drive can be removed by moving the ejector in
the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure on the right.


