Cleaning the LCD monitor
Cleaning the main unit and control unit
LCD monitor viewing problems due to fingerprints and dirt
Wipe the LCD monitor with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. Next, lightly wipe it with a
clean, dry cloth.
If the main unit is dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. Next, lightly wipe it with
a clean, dry cloth. Also wipe all dirt, water, and other foreign matter from the inside of the battery
cover, video connector cap, AC adapter connector and the locations where the control unit con-
nects to the main unit.

Never use a chemically treated cloth or strong detergent, such as benzine or alcohol. Doing so may dam-
age the surface of the LCD monitor.
●
Do not use a cloth that is hard, dirty, or has foreign matter on it. Doing so may damage the surface of the
LCD monitor.
7.4 Storage precautions
Store this product under normal room temperature and humidity.
●
Never subject cables to severe bending, pulling, binding, twisting, or crushing forces. Do not allow a cable
to be exposed to heat, which can melt its covering. Otherwise, cable might be damaged, which can lead to
fire and electric shock.
●
Do not store the instrument in the carrying case with the shoulder strap still attached.
Otherwise, the LCD monitor might be scratched or the shoulder strap might be damaged.

Turn off power and remove the battery or unplug the AC adapter.

Unlock the angulation lock and straighten the angulation section, then store it
according to the label with packing instructions.

Store the equipment on a level surface in a clean, dry and stable place.
