6 Stereo measurement procedures (RX (stereo measurement function) only)

While a live image is displayed, press the [ZOOM] lever toward [W].
The spot ranging screen is displayed.

After confirming that the distance is 15 mm or less in [Object distance], press
the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The measurement method selection screen is displayed.

Select [Distance] and then press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The measurement screen is displayed.

Use the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to specify the measurement points (2 points).

The measurement accuracy may be reduced by loose attachment of the optical adapter or dirt on
the lens components. Confirm the measurement values after the stereo optical adapter is regis-
tered, selected or before and after measurement.

Insert the insertion tube's distal end into the optical adapter hole of the check
tool (included with the stereo optical adapter) to the end.

Turn the check tool so that you see an image similar to the one shown in the
figure below.
