Chapter 3 Preparation, Inspection and Operation

1.

Gently push the slider so that the clip projects from
the coil sheath until the white part of the clip is
visible. At this time, the clip should appear in the
endoscopic image as shown in Figure 3.9(b).

Once the clip of the rotatable clip fixing
device is extended from the coil sheath,
the clip cannot be accommodated in the
coil sheath again. If it is required to
discontinue clipping after extending the
clip from the distal end of the sheath,
either close the clip and withdraw the
entire endoscope or let the clip inside the
body and then collect the clip.
